Pelous made his 89th test appearance since his debut in 1995, and his 21st as captain. Olivier Magne was surprisingly dropped to the reserves bench. Colin Charvis returned from injury to lead the Welsh side. Captain against Ireland, Martyn Williams, moved to the reserves but later came on to score Wale's only try. Veteran Gareth Llewellyn returned to the bench. Another veteran Mark Taylor took the injured Sonny Parker's place in the backline. Parker is out injured for the remainder of the 6 Nations tournament. |
