MATCH NOTES A last minute easy try by Joe Worsley gave England a win over a determined and spirited Welsh side. Bath center Mike Tindall was recalled to the England side as was lock Danny Grewcock. Niel Back was forced off the bench with Jones gaining a starting spot and Worsley moved to the bench. Back announced his retirement from international rugby at the end of the 6 Nations tournament. Jason Leonard was not recalled to the team virtually ending his international career. Veteran Mike Catt returned to the team via the bench as did Julian White. Veteran hooker Robin McBryde returned from illness and prop Duncan Jones from injury to add strength to the Welsh front row. |
