MATCH NOTES
Elvis Vermeulen's try, the last movement of the game, gave France a better points difference than Ireland allowing them to retain the 6 Nations trophy for 2006-07.

Sean Lamont received a yellow card early in the second half. When Traille came on as a replacement late in the game it was his 50th test for France. Milloud, playing his 45th test for France, scored his first test try.
