Bekker and Mujati were making their test debuts for South Africa. Fury was making his test debut for Wales.
Jacobs last appeared for South Africa v England 2002, and Conradie against Argentina, November 2005.
Chavanga and Mujati were born in Zimbabwe.
James, Smit and Matfield were the first overseas-based players to represent South Africa. Hibbard last played for Wales v Australia, June 2007.
Of the victorious 2007 Rugby World Cup squad, only Smit, Botha, Smith, James and Habana were in the run on team.
De Villiers became South Africa’s first black coach.
