Rugby
In Japan Vol.6 No.16
Ian McDonnell’s latest
newsletter has the Japan
squad details for the first Asia5Nations game against Kazakhstan.
There is also the latest on the bidding for the hosting of the 2015 and 2019
Rugby World Cups. The time is close for decision time. Presentations are made
in Dublin in
May with decisions to be made in July.
Rugby
in Japan Vol.6 No.15
Ian McDonnell has safely
moved into his new abode in Japan.
He has sent two newsletters in quick succession which has caught RugInt
unawares due to the Easter break here in Australia. There wasn’t a No.13 as
Ian was in the middle of his move.
Both newsletters are
crammed-pack full of local news about this wonderful game in Japan. He has
concentrated on the national 7’s team and the Under 20 team’s tour to Wales. These
newsletters make excellent reading. I’m looking for others around the world to
think of trying your own newsletter from where you live, especially Tier 2
nations whose coverage on the internet is limited.
