THIS WEEKEND 21-22 JUNE

Updated 27.06.2008

New Zealand outlasted a gallant but out classed English side last Saturday. Can the English salvage some pride with an unlikely win against a Kiwi side gaining strength with every match.

An under strength Italian side takes on a reorganised South African side in what looks like a one-sided match at Capetown.

It is a sad reflection on the standard of the game at senior level in North America when the two national sides Canada and the USA fill the bottom two places in the Churchill Cup. They play off for 5th and 6th place whilst the second teams from England and Ireland play for the title.

World Cup qualifying matches continue in Paraguay. Paraguay and Brazil had comfortable wins last week. They meet in the final round and that match looks like being the one that will determine the winner of CONSUR B. The winner will play Trinidad and Tobago who won NAWIRA B, the first round of the World Cup qualifying matches, Northern American zone.

PLEASE NOTE: This site will provide only limited coverage of the international rugby scene from Wednesday 18 June through to Monday 23 June. This is due to work and family commitments.
