| MATCH NOTES Germany travelled to Wales with 22 players. An injury to Clemens von Grumbkow prior to the match saw the bench one player short. The Germans were originally down to play 3 matches but lack of finance saw only the one match played. Michael Kerr is a New Zealander who qualified after a 5 year residency period.
