DATA BASE UPDATE (04.10)

Whilst updating each country’s list of international results I managed to correct one result.

Great Britain XV v Argentina in Buenos Aires

The full date is 12.06.1910 and the result was 28-3 to Great Britain, not 17-13 as previously listed.

This was Argentina’s first international rugby test

Three other ‘tests’ from the 1927 have also been added making the page complete as shown below.

The changes have also been made to the Argentina list of results.

 

GREAT BRITAIN XV INTERNATIONAL RUGBY RESULTS
The 1910 team left England as 'An English Team' but the Argentines more correctly labelled the side 'Combined British' as the side included three Scottish players. The 1927 and 1936 sides were more representative of the 'British Isles' although test 'caps' were not awarded. Updated 04.10.2008
